Motown's Marveletts coming to the Uptown
The Marvelettes, one of the most pop-oriented of Motown’s major female acts, will perform February 7, at the historic Uptown Theater.
The Marvelettes recorded Motown’s first No. 1 single, Please Mr. Postman (1961). Other hits include Playboy, Twistin’, Postman and Beechwood 4-5789.
Season and individual performance tickets are now on sale. The box office opens at 6 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $21-$31 and are available online or by calling 972-237-UPTN
