About a dozen patriotic citizens gathered on Dechman Bridge over Interstate 20 to cheer the motorcycle riders in the Run For the Wall as they passed through Grand Prairie.
Run For the Wall is a motorcycle ride that began in Rancho Cucamonga, CA on May 14 and ends in Washington DC on May 23. The riders are a part of the 21st annual Rolling Thunder, the Memorial Day weekend event that publicizes MIA and POW issues and honors veterans of all conflicts.

I really enjoyed watching our veterans in the "Run for the Wall". One of my brothers and his wife (Mike and Sandi Lambert) joined the group in Weatherford. We are so proud of all of our service men and women. My Dad served in WW II and Korea. All three of my brothers were in the Navy, in Viet Nam.
I just wished that Grand Prairie would have showed more support. Maybe next year we can get the word out.
Thank you Mr.Fitch for being there and all the others that showed up.

We are so proud of all our service men and women. It was very touching watching all the riders and everyone that showed support for the "Run for the Wall".
Our son Mike and daughter-in-law Sandi joined the group in Weatherford. Tonight they are in Virginia, having the time of their life.
