Missing man's body found

Grand Prairie police and firefighters recovered the body of 81 year-old Kil Duk Hong late Saturday evening from what was described as a deep water section of Fish Creek in the Fish Creek Forest Preserve, 425 E. Crossland.
Detective John Brimmer, Grand Prairie police spokesman, said a person walking a trail noticed the body floating in the creek and notified police around 7:20 p.m.
He said the case will remain under investigation until the Dallas County Medical Examiner determines if Hong’s death is an accident.
Hong has been missing from the 300 block of Crossland since about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Family members said that Hong frequently walked to the park.
The Grand Prairie police and fire, along with volunteers and help from other agencies, have conducted many searches of the area, Detective Brimmer said. He said, a helicopter, search dogs along with some new technology were all used in an effort to locate Hong.
