NFL Hall of Famer helps raise money for scholarships

The 6th Annual Charley Taylor Celebrity Golf Classic was held Friday at the Prairie Lakes Golf Course.  Taylor along with the NAACP, Grand Prairie Branch sponsors the golf tournament to raise scholarship money for deserving high school seniors with plans for a higher education.

Taylor, a former Grand Prairie resident, a Dalworth Dragon star football player, star NFL player and a NFL Hall of Fame inductee, returns to Grand Prairie each year to help with this worthy cause.
