Traffic in the area of the 1000 block of Post & Paddock was snarled for hours toady as police had to block the road because it was feared a damaged light pole would be blown onto the roadway.

The light pole which was in the roads median precariously swayed from side to side in Thursday's strong breeze.

Because of Oncor's heavy call load from the recent high winds, it took about four hours for work crews to get to the area to make repairs.
