AirHogs' stadium gets turf and seats

With the AirHogs home opener only six weeks away, the ballpark moved closer to completion with this weekend’s installation of playing field turf by Roger Bossard, the head groundskeeper for the Chicago White Sox and architect of the AirHogs’ playing field.
The installation of the stadium seating also began this weekend and will take between 10 and 12 days to complete.
Seats in the Club level will be 21 inches wide while the rest 19 inches wide. All main-level seats will be red in color, include a cup-holder, and occupy a majority of the main concourse level. The entire balcony of the suite level will have gray colored seats.
The first day to purchase individual AirHogs' game tickets will be April 19. They will be available on site at the stadium ticket office starting at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available to purchase on the internet beginning at 12 p.m. For season and group ticket information, contact the AirHogs at (972) 504-9383.
