Santa Cop - Santa Spot comes to town

Wednesday night a team of police officers, firefighters, and a host of volunteers loaded nine vans with food and toys. Then fanned out through Grand Prairie to deliver their treasure of goods to families in need.
The common theme among all the hard working volunteers, Santa Cop and Santa Spot is as much a blessing to them as it is to the families receiving the food and gifts.
Officer Mark Calvert said the program is in it 22nd year and this year it served about 400 families.
