Robber strikes bank
A lone bandit robbed the Chase Bank Center, 4146 S. Carrier Parkway, Monday about 2:55 p.m., of an undisclosed amount of money.
Grand Prairie Police spokesman Detective John Brimmer said the lone robber approached a teller inside the bank and demanded cash. He did not display a weapon but acted as if he had one in his waistband.
The suspect is described as:
- White male, light skin, and dark hair
- Spoke with an accent
- Late 20s to early 30s
- 5'04" to 5'08"
- 140 to 160 pounds
- Wearing light gray "hoodie" sweatshirt with a gray shirt under it possibly with "Hollister" written on it
- Blue jeans
- Blue baseball cap possibly with "Corona Extra" written in gold
- Driving a 90s to 2000 Dodge Dakota mid-sized pickup with distinctive green markings resembling flames coming from the front wheel extending toward the back
