Robber strikes bank

Chase robbery suspect 

A lone bandit robbed the Chase Bank Center, 4146 S. Carrier Parkway, Monday about 2:55 p.m., of an undisclosed amount of money.

Grand Prairie Police spokesman Detective John Brimmer said the lone robber approached a teller inside the bank and demanded cash.  He did not display a weapon but acted as if he had one in his waistband.  

The suspect is described as:

  • White male, light skin, and dark hair
  • Spoke with an accent
  • Late 20s to early 30s
  • 5'04" to 5'08"
  • 140 to 160 pounds
  • Wearing light gray "hoodie" sweatshirt with a gray shirt under it possibly with "Hollister" written on it
  • Blue jeans
  • Blue baseball cap possibly with "Corona Extra" written in gold
  • Driving a 90s to 2000 Dodge Dakota mid-sized pickup with distinctive green markings resembling flames coming from the front wheel extending toward the back
