League tryout camp set for March 27-28

The American Association of Independent Professional Baseball will hold a tryout camp March 27-28 at LaGrave Field, home of the Fort Worth Cats. Field managers from the association’s teams will be on hand and a dispersal draft will be held at the tryouts conclusion.

To participate a player must have prior professional baseball experience or played at least two years of college baseball within the last two years.

Participants are required to pre-register for the tryout at www.americanassociationbaseball.com/tryout_registration, cost is $30 and only credit cards are accepted.

The American Association’s 96-game season opens May 7.  The league consists of ten teams in two divisions.  The Grand Prairie AirHogs are in the South Division.
