Chase Bank robber arrested
Grand Prairie police arrested Collin Garner, 36, in conncection with the Dec. 10 robbery of the Chase Bank, 4146 S. Carrier Pkwy.
Detective John Brimmer, police spokesman, said several Crime Stopper tips lead to Garner. Witnesses were able to identify him from a photo lineup and an arrest warrant was obtained.
Officers arrested Garner today when information was received that he was staying at 425 S. Great Southwest Parkway. From the location police recovered a vehicle that matches the description of the one used in the robbery along with clothing items that may have been worn during the robbery.
Detective Brimmer said the FBI has been contacted to determine if Garner will prosecuted at the federal or state level.
